Christopher Alder is not someone I knew personally, I read his story.
He was taken to the Police Station as a result of an alleged breach of the peace at a nightclub where he was punched to the ground. He was taken to hospital where he behaved erratically. No one thought this may be as a result of the assualt he sustained, so he was arrested and taken to the Police Station.
He was unconscious and the Police Office carried him in to the Police Station. They left him on the floor face down. They continued with what they were doing, making monkey noises in the background, as Christopher lay dying gurgling for breath. everything was on the CCTV in the Police Station.
Christopher died on the floor of that Police Station.
There should be justice for the tragic death and the manner in which he was treated by the Police Officers.
My prayers are with Christopher's family.

I feel more depressed

The pain of losing my son

That the pain will go away
They don’t understand
That this pain is here to stay
For when you lose a child

The bond we had at their birth

The love a mother has

That love is so special
It’s in her heart to keep
A mother’s heart is broken
She is ripped apart inside
There is a part of her missing
It left when her child died
So please don’t tell me to get over it
For this I can not do
Unless you understand my feelings
And this has happened to you
Only another mother who has lost a child
Can understand my pain
Because the also suffer daily
As the memories of their child remain
We are a band of mothers
Whose hearts will never heal?
For the loss of our children
Is for us, so very real.

This is a disgrace, far too often we hear of things like this that occur as a result of policy negligence. I sincerely hope that 1 day justiced will be served for the terrible way that Chirstopher was treated.
